Asparagus on toast
How to Make Asparagus on toast
- Cut off the bottom hard part of the asparagus, about 1 & 1/2 inches;wash thoroughly.
- Place in round baking dish, add about half a cup of water, cover with plastic wrap and vent at side.
- Microwave just a few minutes, perhaps three to start, and test for crispness. It should be bright green and still a bit crunchy.
- Carefully uncover, and remove from water, and place on top of buttered toast. Add salt and pepper as desired. It's so comforting and good!
