i remember waking up in the morning to this great smelling breakfast my mom would have it ready in bowls for us to eat its healthy and good for you

Ingredients For apple cinnamon overnight oatmeal

3-4apples, peeled and diced into 1/2 inch pieces

3 cmilk
-
2 cwater
-
1 capple juice or cider
-
2 cuncooked steal cut oats (i use regular oatmeal)

1/4 cmaple syrup
-
2 Tbspbutter, cut into small pieces
-
1/2 tspsalt
-
1 tspvanilla extract
-
1/4 cbrown sugar, divided
-
2 tspcinnamon, divided
-
any additional desired toppings for oat meal such as chopped nuts, raisins, craisins, brown sugar, milk, cream, granola, etc.
How To Make apple cinnamon overnight oatmeal

1spray the crock pot with nonstick cooking spray or use a slow cooker liner.

2add the diced apples, milk,water, apple juice, oats, maple syrup, butter, salt, vanilla to crock pot and stir until well combined.

3then mix in 2 tablespoons of the brown sugar along with 1 teaspoon of the cinnamon.

4cook on low for 7-8 hours.

5in the morning add the remaining 2 tablespoons brown sugar and 1 teaspoon cinnamon and stir in the oatmeal.

6it will thicken more after you give it a stir.

7unplug the crock pot and let sit for 5 minutes. your oatmeal is now ready to serve. top with any additional desired toppings.

8notes: left overs can be placed in containers and put in the refrigerator.

9to reheat, just add a little milk to 1 cup of the oatmeal. microwave for 30 seconds.

10give it a stir and microwave another 30 seconds or until heated through.
