Easter Egg Sandwich
2hardboiled eggs, sliced
4 slicebread, lightly toasted
2 sliceprovolone cheese (or any cheese)
·all-purpose seasoning (i used chef prudhomme's no salt seasoning
·salt to taste
·whole grain mustard (optional)
·butter/cooking spray or oil for pan
How to Make Easter Egg Sandwich
- Heat butter, spray or a bit of oil in a cast iron skillet on medium/high. Lightly toast the bread.
- On one slice of toast, spread mustard (if using), then arrange the sliced egg, sprinkle with seasoning and salt. Cover with cheese. Top with last slice of toast.
- Place both sandwiches in buttered skillet. Heat for a few minutes until cheese starts to droop, flip sandwiches. Cook until toast is slightly browned.
