Serve with a good hunk of bread smeared with apple butter.
Great on a cold rainy morning. This has roots, except for the venison, going back to my childhood.

olive oil

diced onion
1 1/2 c
chopped green pepper
1 or 2 medium
cloves garlic, minced
2 1/2 c
chicken broth

32oz can hominy
1 1/4 can(s)
.5oz can fire-roasted tomatoes
