This breakfast casserole recipe has so few ingredients and is easy to make. Crescent rolls are now a staple at my house since so many recipes can be made with them. This recipe can be changed to suit your taste. Replace sausage with bacon or ham. Add other extras that you like. The last time I made it, I added 2 baked potatoes diced up and 3 diced green onions.

  • 1 can
    crescent rolls
  • 1 lb
    pork sausage
  • 6 lg
    eggs
  • 1/2 c
    milk
  • 1 c
    mozzarella cheese, shredded
  • 1 c
    cheddar cheese, shredded
  • 1 tsp
    salt
  • 1/2 tsp
    pepper

    Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Brown sausage and drain.

    Spray a 9x13 pan with cooking spray. Unroll the crescent rolls and press them into the bottom of the pan. Press seams together to seal.

    Spread sausage over the crust.

    Whisk together eggs and milk. Add salt and pepper to taste.

    Pour over sausage and top with cheese.

    Bake for 30 minutes or until eggs are set.
