I got this idea from a very good elder friend of mine. It takes a little time but, it is so delicious!

  • 8 slice
    white bread (trimmed)
  • 1/4 c
  • 6 slice
    bacon, cooked
  • 1 c
    sharp cheddar cheese (shredded)
  • 1/4 c
    yellow onions (diced)
  • 1/2 tsp
  • 1/8 tsp
    black pepper
  • 1/4 c
    butter, melted

How to Make Delicious Breakfast Casserole


  1. In an 11X13 casserole dish, place trimmed bread in buttered dish.(Melt 1/4 c. of butter in microwave)
  2. Mix eggs, milk, salt, pepper together and pour over bread evenly.
  3. Sprinkle onions & cooked bacon (crumbled)on top.
  4. Cover with saran wrap and place in the fridge overnight.
  5. Next morning uncover and place in pre-heated oven for 25 to 35 minutes at 350 degrees making sure eggs are completely cooked.
  6. Remove from oven and sprinkle cheddar cheese on top while hot and let stand for 5 minutes.
  7. You can substitute bacon for crumbled sausage. You can also add beel pepper to this. Use your imagination! Eat and Enjoy!
