I got this recipe from a girl at work and added a few touches. Everyone loves it. The only problem is keeping it warm if you need to take it somewhere.

1/2 tsp

How to Make Breakfast Casserole

Step-by-Step

  • 1Thoroughly cook sausage. Beat eggs. Beat in milk, cream, Worcestershire sauce, salt & pepper. Place cubed bread in greased 9 x 13 baking dish. Spoon sausage on top of bread. Sprinkle cheese and mushrooms on top of bread and sausage. DON'T BLEND THE CHEESE WITH THE MILK TO SAVE TIME; IT MAKES IT MUSHY. Pour egg mixture over top of other ingredients. Cover with foil and store in fridge overnight. Bake covered in preheated oven at 350 degrees for 45 minutes, remove foil and bake an additional 15 minutes.
