Ingredients

  • 3 c
    flour
  • 2 c
    sugar
  • 1 Tbsp
    ground cinnamon
  • 1 tsp
    baking soda
  • 1 tsp
    salt
  • 3
    eggs, well beaten
  • 1.25 c
    canola oil
  • 2 pkg
    frozen sliced strawberries, thawed

How to Make Strawberry Bread

Step-by-Step

  1. Preheat the oven to 350.
  2. Lightly grease two loaf pans, the bottom of each lined with aluminum foil.
  3. In a large bowl, mix together flour, sugar, cinnamon, baking soda and salt.
  4. Make a well in the center of this mixture.
  5. Pour eggs and oil into the well.
  6. Stir until dry ingredients just become moist.
  7. Pour thawed strawberries and juice into a container.
  8. With a slotted spoon, dip our strawberries and gently stir into mixture.
  9. Then add juice gradually, stirring until batter is of proper consistency.
  10. The amount of juice varies in strawberries when thawed.
  11. The batter should not be too thin.
  12. Bake at 350 for 1 hour or until done.
  13. Let cool in pans for 15 minutes.
  14. Loosen sides of loaves with knife.
  15. Cool completely before slicing.
