3 call purpose flour

2 1/4 cgranulated sugar

1 1/2 Tbsppoppy seeds

1 1/2 Tbspbaking powder

1 1/2 tspsalt

3eggs, lightly beaten

1 1/2 cmilk
-
1 cvegetable oil
-
1 1/2 tspvanilla extract

1 1/2 tspalmond extract

1 1/2 tspbutter extract
- GLAZE

3/4 cgranulated sugar

1/4 corange juice
How To Make almond poppy seed bread

1Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F.

2Combine the first five ingredients. Add eggs, milk, oil and extracts. Pour into two greased loaf pans. Bake for 60-65 min. Cool completely in pans. Loosen the loaves if necessary to make removal after glaze is applied easier.

3In a saucepan, bring glaze ingredients to a boil. Pour over loaves in their pans. Cool for 5 minutes. Remove loaves from pans and cool completely on wire racks. Place cookie sheet under racks to catch any drips.
