Ingredients For peanut butter banana bread

  • 1 3/4 c
    all purpose flour
  • 1 tsp
    baking soda
  • 1/2 c
    butter softened
  • 1/2 c
    sugar
  • 1/2 c
    light brown sugar
  • 2
    eggs
  • 1 tsp
    vanilla
  • 3/4 c
    creamy peanut butter
  • 3
    overripe bananas mashed
  • 3/4 c
    semi sweet chocolate morsels (optional)

How To Make peanut butter banana bread

    Preheat the oven to 350 degrees. Spray a 9X5 inch loaf pan with nonstick baking spray.

    Whisk together flour and baking soda; set aside. Using a mixer cream the butter and sugars. Add eggs 1 at a time mixing just until incorporated. Stir in vanilla, peanut butter and mashed bananas. Add the flour mixture in 2 parts mixing just until incorporated. Fold in the chocolate chips.

    Pour into the prepared loaf pan and bake for 60-70 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean. Allow to cool 5 minutes before inverting on to wire rack to fully cool.
