"cinn-ful" butter pecan cobbler

This is such a quick and easy dessert to prepare - and smells amazing while baking in the oven. The glaze is absolutely indulgent! Rich butter pecan flavor with cinnamon. Almost everyone has the ingredients in their kitchen right now... so you can enjoy this any time!

Ingredients For "cinn-ful" butter pecan cobbler

  • 6 Tbsp
    butter
  • 1 c
    pecans, chopped
  • COBBLER BATTER:
  • 1 c
    all purpose flour
  • 1 tsp
    baking powder
  • 1/4 tsp
    salt
  • 2/3 c
    granulated sugar
  • 1 c
    milk
  • 1/2 tsp
    vanilla extract
  • GLAZE:
  • 1 c
    light brown sugar
  • 1/4 tsp
    cinnamon
  • 1/2 c
    hot water

How To Make "cinn-ful" butter pecan cobbler

    Preheat oven to 350 degrees.

    In a 9X9 baking dish add butter. Place in oven.

    While butter is melting, mix ingredients for cobbler batter in a medium bowl until smooth.

    Remove pan from oven and sprinkle pecan pieces over butter.

    Carefully pour cobbler batter over butter and pecans.

    Sprinkle brown sugar and cinnamon over cobbler batter.

    Carefully pour hot water over brown sugar and cinnamon.

    Place back into oven and bake 35 to 45 minutes until cobbler batter is cooked. The glaze underneath will be thin.

    Remove from oven and allow to sit until warm about 20 to 30 minutes - the glaze will thicken as it sits. Enjoy! This would also be good served with ice cream. (:
