sugar
1 tsp
baking powder
1 Tbsp
baking soda
1 tsp
salt
2 large
eggs
1 3/4 c
milk
2/3 c
vegetable oil
1 1/2 c
semi-sweet chocolate chips
1 1/2 c
chopped walnuts or pecans (optional)

How to Make Chocolate Chip Quick Bread

Step-by-Step

  • 1Preheat oven to 350°F/180° C. Grease two 9 x 5-inch loaf pans.
  • 2Combine flour, sugar, baking powder, baking soda and salt in large bowl.
  • 3Combine eggs, milk and vegetable oil in medium bowl. Add to flour mixture; mix just until moistened. Stir in 1 1/2 cups chocolate chips and chopped nuts. Spoon into prepared loaf pans.
  • 4Bake for 55 to 60 minutes or until wooden pick inserted in center comes out clean. Cool in pans for 10 minutes; remove from pans. Cool on wire racks.
