Ingredients

  • 1 c
    self rising corn meal
  • 2 Tbsp
    self rising flour
  • 1 can(s)
    (15 oz.) cream-style corn
  • 1 c
    sour cream
  • 1/4 c
    corn oil
  • 2
    eggs
  • 2 Tbsp
    chopped pimentos
  • 1 tsp
    dried minced onion

How to Make SOUR CREAM CORNBREAD

Step-by-Step

  1. In a large bowl, mix corn meal and flour. Add all other ingredients and mix thoroughly.
  2. Pour mixture into a greased 8x8-inch pan. Bake in a preheated 400º oven for 25 to 35 minutes.
  3. Cut into squares to serve. Delicious with butter or covered with creamed chicken, roast beef and gravy, or sliced turkey and gravy.
