  • 1 c
    cup grated cheese, you choice of type
  • 1 c
    chopped onions
  • 1 c
    self rising corn meal
  • 1 can(s)
    # 2 size of creamed style corn
  • 2

How to Make Onion Bread


  1. Combine all ingredients, pour into a heavy skillet (iron) that has been greased (Pam Spray will work) Bake at 450 for 30 to 35 minutes until golden brown.
  2. Orginial receip says bake at 300 until brown. No time limited. So feel free to try it this way also.
