Ingredients For gf egg bread loaf

  • 1/4 c
    shortening (i use butter crisco)
  • 3 Tbsp
    honey
  • 2
    eggs
  • 1 pkg
    yeast (about 1 tablespoon)
  • 1 c
    unflavored yogurt
  • 1/2 c
    potato starch
  • 1 1/2 c
    cornstarch
  • 1/2 tsp
    baking soda
  • 1 Tbsp
    baking powder
  • 2 tsp
    xanthan gum
  • 3/4 tsp
    salt
  • 1 tsp
    apple cider vinegar

How To Make gf egg bread loaf

    Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Combine all ingredients. Mix well to remove all lumps. Metal spoons work well to stir. The dough will be quite wet. Place dough in a greased loaf pan. Smooth top with wet hands. Bake 40-45 minutes, until loaf is slightly browned and toothpick inserted in middle tests clean. Serves 10, makes a large loaf. Cool thorougly, i use a bread slicing guide to cut.
