    butter
  • 1/2 c
    sugar
  • 2
    eggs
  • 1 Tbsp
    rum
  • 1 tsp
    vanilla
  • 3 Tbsp
    milk
  • 1/2 tsp
    cinnamon
  • 2 tsp
    baking powder
  • 2 1/4 c
    all purpose flour
  • 1/4 c
    ground almonds
  • 1 Tbsp
    grated orange rind
  • 1/4 c
    raisins (optional)

    In a large mixing bowl, combine butter and sugar. Beat in eggs, rum, vanilla, and milk.

    In a medium bowl, mix together cinnamon, baking powder, and flour.

    Add flour mixture to butter mixture. Gently mix in almonds, orange rind and raisins.
