I was one of 3 finalists in the Go Meat Mama Hillshire Farm Sausage Cooking Contest on the Steve Harvey Morning Show last year. This was my first time ever entering a recipe for any contest. I had never even made the recipe before. I didn't tell anyone I had entered, so when I got the call, I knew it was not a prank. I was so excited! So after the call, I invited friends over for a tasting. They loved it. I must say, it was pretty tasty. They flew us up to Atlanta, we had great meals at some fantastic resturants. We stayed at really, really nice hotels, gave us cash, credit for incidentals, coupons for sausage, set of nice pot and pans, aprons. etc. We set live on the show. We had to fly up there twice, because the first time, Steve was on a juice diet. He couldn't eat our food. I met some really nice people. I didn't win, but I felt like I won! When you see the recipe, you can see I really didn't have to do much cooking. Happy Cooking! sw:)
