Ingredients For arabic honey glazed pistachio muffins

  • 8 1/2 Tbsp
    all-purpose flour
  • 4 Tbsp
    sugar
  • 1/2 tsp
    baking powder
  • 1/8 tsp
    baking soda
  • 1 pinch
    salt
  • 1 tsp
    ground cardamom
  • 3 Tbsp
    buttermilk
  • 1
    beaten egg
  • 1/2 tsp
    vanilla extract
  • 3 Tbsp
    yogurt
  • 3 Tbsp
    crushed pistachio nuts
  • honey, for glaze

How To Make arabic honey glazed pistachio muffins

    pre-heat oven to 350f.

    In a mixing bowl add flour, sugar, baking powder, soda, salt and cardamom and mix well.

    Add buttermilk, egg, vanilla, yogurt and mix well. Fold in pistachio's.

    Place 5 liners (regular/small) into a muffin pan and fill 3/4 full with batter. Bake 15-20 mins until lightly browned and toothpick comes out clean.

    Brush tops with honey.
