simple sweet scones

My family loves these scones! In our household this is a go to recipe for a weekend or holiday treat. It's a biscuity style scone, not cakey/ dense or gummy like you get now in many coffee shops. My then 16 year old daughter posted this when she first discovered Recipezaar, it's now 11 years and over 100 5 star reviews later; I'm glad so many others have enjoyed it too!
