Baking Essential: Savory Italian Style Bisquick

This is a pretty standard recipe for making faux Bisquick. It is a bit different, because I have given it more of an Italian slant.
I would not use this recipe for making pancakes, but it is my go to recipe for just about any kind of savory biscuits. And, by putting the spices in ahead of time, and letting the mixture sit in the fridge, it gives the spices a chance to blend with the flour.
So, you ready… Let’s get into the kitchen.
3 cflour, all-purpose variety
1 1/2 Tbspbaking powder, not soda
1 tspsalt, kosher variety
1 tspdried rosemary
1 tspdried basil
1 tspdried oregano
1/2 clard, cubed and cooled
