Ingredients For oven baked falafels

  • 2 c
    soaked chickpeas (use dried not canned if possible!)
  • 1 tsp
    baking powder
  • 1 md
    onion chopped
  • 4 clove
    garlic
  • 2 tsp
    cumin
  • 1 tsp
    coriander
  • 1/4 tsp
    red pepper flakes
  • 2
    handfull fresh parsley
  • 1
    handfull fresh cilantro
  • salt ad pepper to taste

How To Make oven baked falafels

    Soak dried chickpeas for 18 - 24 hours
  • 2
    Preheat oven to 375F.
  • 3
    Drain and rinse chickpeas and combine all ingredients in a food processor. Pulse until smooth and well-combined.

    Spray foil-lined baking sheet with cooking spray.

    Shape into large, round tablespoonfuls and place on baking sheet. Bake for 15-20 minutes, or until dry and a bit firm to the touch.
