jalapeño poppers sherry's way

I've tried many, many jalapeño poppers. From breaded, deep fried ones to halves stuffed with bacon or sausage, cream cheese, blue cheese, and etc. Sorry, nothing beats good old fashioned bacon and cheddar. How easy is that? To make it even more easy, just buy the cheddar cheese sticks. I precook the bacon, not all the way...so it doesn't make a mess in my oven and it crisps up nicely on the jalapeño. I hope you will give these babies a try. They are easy to do and easy to eat.
