The neighborhood girls are growing and hungry. To get them into a healthy habit without bankrupting us, I used this recipe. All it needs are goood chips.

Food Processor


  • 1 can(s)
    garbanzos, with (1/2 the juice)
  • 1 clove
    large, of garlic
  • 1/4 c
    tahini paste
  • 1 Tbsp
    lemon juice, fresh(or 1/2 fresh lemon to taste)
  • 1/2 tsp
  • 1 Tbsp
    pine nuts (roasted @350 x 10 min.)

How to Make Hummus-Easy/fast


  1. Put all ingredients in food processor and blend until very smooth.
  2. Top with roasted pinenuts and/or fresh tomatoes, cut up finely.
  3. Serve with fresh veggies or roasted chips. Pita or black bean chips are great with this.
