our hometown of sevierville, tn, has a favorite recipe contest every year and the winners are published in the local paper. I have picked and tried these recipes and they are wonderful

Ingredients For 7 layer dip

  • 16 oz
    can refried beans
  • 1 Tbsp
    taco seasoning mix
  • 1 cup
    sour crem
  • 1 cup
    shrdded lettuce
  • 1 cup
    mexican style shredded cheese
  • 1/2 cup
    chopped green onions
  • 2 Tbsp
    sliced pitted rip olives

How To Make 7 layer dip

  • 1
    mix beans and taco seaoning mix; spread onto bottom of a 9" pie plate. Layer remaining ingreds., over bean mixture; cover

    Refrigerate several hrs.,till chilled. Serve w/tortilla chips or assorted crackers. Makes 48 serv, abt 2 tbsp. each
