Shrimp isn't grilled or in traditional BBQ sauce, but that's what they call it in New Orleans and it is SOOO good!

Blue Ribbon Recipe

I love a good southern shrimp recipe and this one did not disappoint. The smell of the melted butter, garlic and other spices really made my mouth water. I could not wait to take a bite. The shrimp were nice and tender and full of flavor. My husband is already asking when I will be making this again! The Test Kitchen

How to Make New Orleans Style BBQ Shrimp

Step-by-Step

  1. INSTRUCTIONS
    Preheat the oven to 400°F.

Place in the oven and bake, basting with the sauce occasionally, for 20 minutes, or until the shrimp are pink and the tails just slightly curved.
Remove the skillet from the oven. Remove the bay leaf from the sauce, then spoon the shrimp and sauce into bowls, and serve with crusty baguettes of hot french bread for dipping in the sauce.
