Whenever I visit a Mexican restaurant that serves shrimp or seafood cocktail,I order it. It's one of my favorites.
This is my version of the shrimp cocktail. Instead of the store bought V-8 juice,try my homemade V-8 juice recipe and instead of the Clamato,add clam juice to it to the homemade V-8 juice.

Ingredients

  • ·
    1 cucumber,seeded,peeled,cut into small pieces
  • ·
    1/c large white onion,minced
  • ·
    3 medium size avocados,ripe,but firm
  • ·
    1 bunch fresh cilantro, chopped
  • ·
    2 limes,juiced
  • ·
    32 oz spicy v-8 juice
  • ·
    32 oz clamato juice
  • ·
    hot sauce,to taste
  • ·
    salt and pepper,to taste
  • ·
    5 cloves garlic,minced
  • ·
    2 lbs cooked and peeled shrimp

How to Make Lad's Mexican Shrimp Cocktail

Step-by-Step

  1. Chill serving dish. Combine all ingredients. Chill one hour. Serve with tortilla chips or saltine crackers and lime wedges.
