The hind legs of thefrog have a taste like chicken, in texture and flavor. If your fish store does not have them. They are readly available frozen. They can be broiled,sauteed, cooked with sauce, and fried. This is great finger food .The kids love them., and let them help pre-pare them. This is Gramps delicious fry recipe.     bowl white flour
  • 2 c
    butter milk
  • 1/2 c
    hot sauce...brand...your choice
  • box panko crumbs- from store.
  • 2 dash
    salt & pepper added to panko crumbs
  • cooking oil, for frying

    SEPERATE FROG LEGS. RINSE & DRY. fLOUR LEGS. DIP IN BUTTER MILK. LET DRIP A LITTLE, YOU DO NOT WANT THEM TO WET. Cover wth Panko crumbs. COAT LEGS WITH pANKO CRUMBS.

    PUT ON A PLATE, THEN IN REFRIGERATOR. For 10 minutes. This really helps the batter stick! HEAT OIL TO 350-375 FRY LEGS 2-3 AT A TIME, TURN AND FRY OTHER SIDE. REMOVE, and dRAIN ON A RACK OVER PAPER TOWELS.
