I love crab ragoons and have to get them when we go out to eat. This recipe is awesome and simple. Some places they are a little sweeter then others so I did note that you can use up to 1/4 cup of sugar. And it does not matter what kind of crabmeat you use but the real stuff is always the best.

Ingredients For crab ragoons

10 ozcrab meat

2 pkgcream cheese (8oz each)

3green onions (chopped)

1 pinchsalt
-
1 Tbspsugar
-
1 pkgwonton wrappers

1/4 tsponion powder
-
oil for frying

smbowl of water
How To Make crab ragoons

1Place crabmeat, cream cheese, onions, salt and onion powder and sugar (can add up to 1/4 cup of sugar depending on how sweet you want your filling) in food processor and mix into a lumpy paste.

2Place one tablespoon of mixture in center of wonton wrapper. Moisten around the edge of wrapper. Draw up corners to meet and make a package. Make sure all the edges are sealed. Continue with the remaining wrappers and mixture. Deep Fry in hot oil (350 degrees) until golden brown.
