Sesame Chicken Wings
8chicken wings tips removed and cut into 2 pieces
·salt, pepper and cornstarch for dredging
·oil for frying
1/2 ceach soy sauce and brown sugar
1/4 ceach mirin and sake
3 clovegarlic minced
·toasted sesame seeds
How to Make Sesame Chicken Wings
- Mix the cornstarch with salt and pepper. Dredge the chicken wings. in the mixture and cook in 350 degree hot oil for about 5 to 8 minutes. Depending on the size of the wings.
- To make the sauce mix the soy sauce brown sugar, mirin , sake and garlic in a small sauce pan. Bring to a boil and reduce heat to a simmer and simmer 10 minutes until thickened.
- Toss the fried wings in the sauce and sprinkle the sesame seeds over the wings.
