These started out as an appetizer at a girls night party. My family loved them so much, that I now double or triple the recipe and we eat them as the main dish at dinner. Nothing better than a fast, easy, use your fingers dinner. Enjoy

Ingredients

  • 1 large chicken breast, canned
  • 1 small shallot, minced
  • sour cream, just enough to bind together
  • salt, pepper & garlic powder, to taste
  • 1 can refrigerated crescent rolls

How To Make crescent chicken pockets

  • Step 1
    Preheat oven to 375
  • Step 2
    Open & drain chicken breast
  • Step 3
    In a bowl, break up chicken and mix with shallot, sour cream, salt, pepper & garlic powder, to combine. Taste - adjust seasoning now.
  • Step 4
    unroll, separate at the seams,and lightly stretch crescent rolls.
  • Step 5
    add 1 1/2 - 2 tablespoons of mixture to each crescent roll at the wide end.
  • Step 6
    roll & pinch close edges
  • Step 7
    place on lightly greased baking sheet
  • Step 8
    bake uncovered 10-12 minutes or until golden brown
