These are always a huge hit!! You could add some chopped onion if you wanted. Most people make these using around 3 tsp of poppy seeds. But we have truck drivers in our family and poppy seeds show up on drug tests so I don't use them. Enjoy!!! :o)

Have you tried to take a bite of a ham sandwich and you can't bite through the sandwich completely? These ham delights solve that problem. These ham sliders have all the typical ingredients, but all the ham is chopped. Mixing the ingredients together makes this slider easy to eat. Ham and Swiss are a classic combination. The Worcestershire sauce adds a slight sweetness, and mustard adds a slight tang. All the flavors pair well with sweet Hawaiian king rolls. These are meant to serve a crowd, so perfect for game day or parties.

Ingredients For ham delights

  • 3 pkg
    Hawaiian King rolls (12 roll package)
  • 1 lb
    cooked ham, shaved & chopped
  • 1 lb
    Swiss cheese, shredded
  • 1/2 c
    butter, softened
  • 3 Tbsp
    mustard
  • 1 tsp
    Worcestershire sauce

After 15 minutes, we covered the sandwiches with foil and baked for another 10-15 minutes to completely melt the cheese. We also brushed them with a bit of melted butter while hot.
  • Butter, mustard, Worcestershire sauce, ham, and cheese in a bowl.

    Preheat oven to 350 F. In a large bowl, combine butter, mustard, and Worcestershire sauce. Add ham and cheese. Mix until well blended.
  • Package of rolls cut in half but not separated.

    Slice the top half off of the rolls. DO NOT BREAK INTO INDIVIDUAL ROLLS. Return the bottom half to the pan.
  • Ham and cheese mixture spread over the rolls.

    Spread 1/3 of the ham/cheese mixture evenly over the bottom half of a 12-pack of rolls.
  • Top of the rolls placed on the sandwich.

    Replace the top half of the rolls.
  • Baking the ham sliders.

    Bake in the oven for around 25 minutes until the rolls are golden brown and the cheese has melted.
  • Slicing into individual sandwiches.

    Slice into individual rolls before serving.
