grilled cheese dogs

This started out as a grilled cheese sandwich with hot dogs on it that my grandma use to me when I was a kid, but my 2 year old likes to pull sandwiches apart and dissect them, so I decided to change it up and make it a little less messy!

Ingredients For grilled cheese dogs

  • 1 pkg
    hot dogs
  • 1 pkg
    hot dog buns
  • 8 slice
    cheese

How To Make grilled cheese dogs

    Prep: Tear buns in half, tear cheese in half, and cut the hotdogs in half.

    Lightly butter and grill the buns in the skillet, along with the hot dogs.

    Place cheese between buns and hotdogs, and if necessary microwave for a 10 - 15 seconds to melt the cheese a little more. (I don't worry about it because I don't want it to be too hot for my little guy.)

    If you prefer you could cook it in the oven with or without butter, to give a little extra crunch! Quick and Easy!
