This recipe comes from Taste of Homes' Prize Winning Recipes small magazine. The name they use is Rye Party Puffs, but I felt the puffs were more trouble than the taste was worth, so I made note of the filling only.

Ingredients For corned beef filling

  • 16 oz
    cream cheese, softened
  • 5 oz
    thinly sliced cooked corned beef, chopped
  • 1/2 c
    mayonnaise
  • 1/4 c
    sour cream
  • 2 Tbsp
    minced chives
  • 2 Tbsp
    diced onion
  • 1 tsp
    spicy brown mustard or horseradish mustard
  • 1/8 tsp
    garlic powder
  • 10 sm
    stuffed olives, chopped
  • rye breads or crackers

How To Make corned beef filling

  • 1
    In a mixing bowl, combine the first eight filling ingredients; mix well. Stir in olives. Apply to rye breads or crackers. Refrigerate.
