Ingredients For beer-soaked bratwurst

  • 2 Tbsp
    canola oil
  • 3
    onions, quartered, thinly sliced
  • 1/8 tsp
    each salt & pepper
  • 2 Tbsp
    spicy brown mustard
  • 1 lb
    bratwurst sausages
  • 1/2 c
    favorite beer

How To Make beer-soaked bratwurst

    In lg skillet over med-low, heat oil. Add onions. Saute 10 mins, stirring often. Season w/ salt and pepper. Stir in mustard. Add bratwurst. Cook 10 mins. Stir in beer. Simmer 3-5 mins.

    Serve as is w/ some toothpicks, or serve w/ hoagie rolls.
