Ingredients For beer meatballs in a crockpot

  • 1 can
    12 oz beer
  • 1 can
    6 oz spicy v-8 juice
  • 1 tsp
    lemon juice
  • 1 tsp
    hot sauce
  • 1/2 c
    italian bread crumbs
  • 1 c
    chopped onions
  • salt and pepper
  • 1 tsp
    celery seed
  • 1 lg
    bottle of ketchup
  • 1 tsp
    horseradish
  • 1 tsp
    worcestershire sauce
  • 2 to 3 lb
    ground beef
  • 2 to 3
    eggs
  • 1
    jalepeno chopped (opt)

How To Make beer meatballs in a crockpot

    Combine ground beef, 1/2 cup of the onions, bread crumbs, and eggs. Do not over mix. Make this into meatballs. Fry or bake until done.

    In a saucepan, combine remaining ingredients. Simmer for 15 minutes. Put both sauce and meatballs into crockpot. The sauce should cover the meatballs. Simmer for at least 3 hours. However, the longer you simmer, the better. 7 to 10 hours is best on low. You may want to add more ketchup or v-8 juice. Add 1 jalepeno chopped if you want it hotter.
