balsamic glazed chicken pops

These are great for a snack or as an appetizer. I make these for my family while dinner is cooking away. It keeps my hungry Grandbabies and my big babies happy until the dinner bell rings. So easy and so good, I know you'll love them.

Ingredients For balsamic glazed chicken pops

  • 1 c
    balsamic vinegar
  • 1/2 c
    honey
  • 1/2 c
    brown sugar
  • 1 tsp
    pepper
  • 4 clove
    garlic
  • 1 tsp
    dried oregano
  • 1 tsp
    salt and pepper
  • 16
    chicken drumettes
  • 1
    ziplock bag

How To Make balsamic glazed chicken pops

    Start with drumettes that have been washed with cold water and patted dry.

    Ziplock bags works great with this, take your Garlic cloves smash them peel them and add the remaining ingredients, make sure you mix the vinegar and honey and sugar by squeezing the bag.

    Preheat your oven to 450'. Add the drumettes to the bag and let it marinate for about one hour. When they're ready take them out onto a foiled and lightly greased sheet pan. and pour the marinade into a saucepan. Place them into the oven.

    While the drumettes are cooking reduce the marinade until it becomes syrupy, this will cook the marinade and intensify the flavors. You can brush the drumettes with the Balsamic reduction, and bake for 30-35 minutes. You'll see a glaze forming when it's done they can be served on a platter and you can spoon more of the glaze over the chicken.
