A favorite of my mother's for the tailgating crowd; can be kept warm in crockpot. They can also be frozen and just reheated when needed.

Ingredients For bacon wrapped chestnuts with peach sauce

  • 2 can
    whole water chestnuts
  • 1 1/2 lb
    bacon, uncooked
  • 7 oz
    ketchup
  • 6 Tbsp
    brown sugar
  • 2 sm
    jars strained baby peaches

How To Make bacon wrapped chestnuts with peach sauce

    Cut bacon strips in half and wrap each piece around a chestnut and secure with toothpick. Bake at 350 for 30 minutes; bacon will start to crisp. Pour off grease.

    Mix Ketchup, sugar and peaches for sauce. Pour sauce over the bacon/chestnuts and bake another 30 minutes.
