One of the best benefits of working as a cheesemonger is that I get to play with recipes and ideas. One of those ideas resulted in this recipe using crumbled blue cheese. This is a recipe that I created and when I demo it the crumbled blue flies out of the store. I hope you and your family will enjoy it.

Wow this one will surprise your palate as well as your guests! You can change the flavor of this one on a whim - just change your jam flavor. Perfect - and tasty - party appetizer.

Ingredients For wild blue

  • 1jar
    seedless black raspberry jam
  • 1lb
    crumbled blue cheese
  • 2-3 cups
    dried cranberries
  • 1cup
    roasted-salted sunflower seeds

How To Make wild blue

    Spread jam on serving platter; top with crumbled blue cheese (as heavy as you like) I like to keep some reserved to freshen the plate.

    Top the cheese with dried cranberries and sunflower seeds.

    Serve at room temperature with your choice of crackers.
