Wow, this is a winning recipe that you will love! I originally found it in one of my magazines and then found the recipe online at Daisy brand's website. I added some chipotle seasoning to give it a little Smokey flavor. It is so yummy! Plus, it is a very festive looking dip. It is cheesy smooth & bacony good. Weight Watcher value:9 pts per serving

Ingredients For warm and creamy bacon dip

  • 8 oz
    cream cheese, softened
  • 2 c
    daisy brand sour cream
  • 3 oz
    bacon bits (this is one small bottle of bacon bits)
  • 2 c
    cheddar cheese, shredded
  • 3/4 c
    green onion, chopped
  • 1/4 c
    green onion, chopped for garnish
  • 1 Tbsp
    chipotle seasoning (optional)

How To Make warm and creamy bacon dip

    Preheat the oven to 400 degrees. In a bowl, combine all ingredients. Make sure your cream cheese is softened. Don't forget to mix in the green onions. Save a small amount of bacon to put on top of dip.

    Preheat the oven to 400 degrees. In a bowl, combine all ingredients. Place the mixture in a 1-quart baking dish. Cover.

    Heat the dip for 25-30 minutes or until hot. (I also put a little more cheese & bacon on top for garnish).

    Serve with assorted fresh vegetables, crackers and/or chips. *Serving option: Dip may also be placed in hollowed round sourdough loaf, wrapped in foil and heated in 400 degree oven for 30 minutes.

    May 20th, 2013 --- I made this dip for our Girl's Night In that was themed for Cinco de Mayo and we ate it with tortilla chips...Yumm! Weight Watcher value:9 pts per serving

    September 20th, 2014 ---- Made this for dinner tonight with a salad but somehow we ate too much dip and got full. We will have our salads tomorrow.
