These delicious wraps were served at a party I went to recently so I came home and re-created them with my own touch. If someone in the family doesn't like chopped tomatoes you can use the tomato-flavored tortillas. Photo: Yummly.com 05-06-15

    10-inch tomato-flavored or plain flour tortillas
  • 5-10
    romaine lettuce leaves, washed and dried
  • 12 slice
    salami, thinly sliced
  • 12 slice
    pepperoni, thinly sliced
  • 15 slice
    provalone or mozzarella cheese, thinly sliced
  • 1/2 c
    balsamic vinaigrette dressing - or - your favorite italian dressing
  • 3
    tomatoes, thinly sliced

How To Make ellen's italian pinwheel appetizers

    Liberally brush dressing over each tortilla, leaving a 1-inch border all around.

    Layer each tortilla with Romaine leaves, salami, cheese, tomato and pepperoni, distributing evenly among the 5 tortillas.

    Roll each tortilla up tightly and wrap in plastic wrap; Refrigerate for a minimum of 2 hours, or overnight.

    Unwrap tortillas and cut each into 1-inch slices. Secure with toothpicks if needed. Serve as an appetizer or for a light lunch.
