While cooking & chatting with a good friend, about recipes of course, with our love for cream cheese & another great ingredient bacon, we decided to create these amazing little appetizers. Taking bread as the vessel & adding a cream cheese mixture, wrapping in bacon and seasoning with Old Bay. These turned out fabulous. They have become the most requested, first to disappear & most talked about appetizer at my gatherings. Make several batches for the big game; everyone gobbles them up. I've made these a couple hours to overnight and refrigerated them before cooking. Then cook as guests arrive.

When we first saw this appetizer recipe we thought it looked interesting. What's not to love - bacon, cream cheese, and bread? We were not disappointed. These little gems are like eating a cream cheese crouton wrapped in bacon. We loved the smoky flavor and crunch of the bread. You will not be able to eat just one. These little appetizers will be a big hit at your next party. Test Kitchen Avatar The Test Kitchen
