I made these for a appetizer for a candle party!!! OH they were a hit!! I did add a little more spice than here!!

Ingredients

  • 1/4 c
    chopped red onion
  • 3
    clove garlic, minced
  • 2 Tbsp
    butter
  • 4
    eggs, beaten
  • 12 oz
    artichoke hearts
  • 1/4 c
    dry bread crumbs
  • 1/2 lb
    cheddar cheese, grated
  • 1 Tbsp
    dried parsley
  • 1/4 tsp
    salt
  • 1/4 tsp
    oregano
  • 1/4 tsp
    black pepper
  • 1/4 tsp
    hot pepper sauce

How to Make Artichoke Cheese Squares

Step-by-Step

  1. Drain and finely chop artichoke hearts.
  2. Saute onion and garlic in butter.
  3. Mix eggs, artichokes, bread crumbs, cheese, parsley and seasonings.
  4. Add onions and garlic.
  5. Turn into buttered 9 x 9 pan. Bake at 325 for 40-45 minutes or until set.
  6. Cut into squares.
