Yummmmmmmmmmmmm! That's the best way to describe this sammie....so easy to put together, but tastes like you slaved all day...this would make a great finger sandwich for a party. Believe me...everyone will love it. The sauce is a must... Enjoy! My photos

Ingredients For "cassies" specialty ham, bacon & swiss torpedo

  • 1 - 16 oz
    loaf of crusty french bread or italian
  • 3/4 lb
    thinly sliced ham...i used virginia baked
  • 6 - 8 slice
    swiss cheese
  • 10 - 12 slice
    bacon, cooked and crumbled
  • 1/2 c
    onion, minced
  • 3 Tbsp
    horseradish mustard
  • 1/2 c
    butter, softened
  • 1 tsp
    poppy seeds

How To Make "cassies" specialty ham, bacon & swiss torpedo

    Preheat oven to 350 degree F. In a bowl, mix the butter, bacon, mustard, poppy seeds, and onion.

    Slice your loaf of bread into. Slather both sides of bread with butter mixture.

    On the bottom part of the loaf, place ham evenly, followed by the Swiss cheese.

    Now, place the top of the loaf on the ham and cheese.

    Wrap in foil, and bake for 30 - 45 minutes or until hot in the middle and cheese is melted.

    Slice and serve while hot. Delicious!
