all my dogs love veggies, I come across this recipie in a book that i found years ago at a garage sale. The book was for my daughter but I got the recipie that was stuffed inside the book as a bookmark.

  • 2 1/2 c
  • 1 c
    whole wheat flour
  • 1/2 c
    corn meal
  • 1 c
    finely shredded vegetables such as carrots,broccoli,celery or whatever vegetable you like
  • 1 1/4 c
  • 1 tsp
    garlic powder
  • 3 Tbsp
    canola oil or vegetable oil

How to Make Veggie Bones for the Veggie Loving Dog


  1. Mix water and oil. Add veggies and dry ingrdients. Knead dough and roll into 1/4 inch thickness. cut dough into bone shape or any other cookie cutter you may have. plasce on ungreased cookie sheet. Bake in pre-heated 350 degree oven for 30 min. these can also be frozen or refrigerated. Makes about 3 doz.
