Kimmi Chee Fried Rice

This is just another way I make fried rice. A friend made it for me once & I was hooked on it. If you like more heat you can add in some hot sauce. Great if you have some left overs from the night before.

  • 1/4 c
    peanut oil
  • 3 c
    cooked white rice
  • 2 tsp
    garlic, minced
  • 1/2 c
    kalbi, diced (or any other meat)
  • 1/2 c
    kim chee, chopped
  • 1/2 c
    watercress pieces (1/2 inch)
  • 1/2 c
    bean sprouts, fresh
  • 3
    eggs, whisked & lightly fried
  • 2 Tbsp
    shoyu sauce, dark
  • 1 tsp
    sesame oil
  • 1/2 c
    green onions, chopped

How to Make Kimmi Chee Fried Rice


  1. Heat oil in a wok or large frying pan.
  2. Put in the rice & toss around until hot & golden brown.
  3. Add in the garlic & toss together.
  4. Add in the kalbi, kim chee, watercress,bean sprouts & the lightly fried eggs. Mix lightly all together.
  5. Stir fry for about 2 mins more. Then add in the shoyu sauce & sesame oil. Mix to coat well.
  6. Finish with the green onions & enjoy.
