Ingredients

  • 16 oz
    cool whip
  • 9 oz
    philadepha cream cheese
  • 2 pkg
    oreo cream stuff cookies
  • 2 pkg
    vanilla instant pudding
  • 2 tsp
    vanilla extract
  • 2 tsp
    butter, cold

How to Make Dirt Cake

Step-by-Step

  1. grind cookies to look like dirt ( best to use a chopper feed a few in at a time) if you dont have a chopper you can put the cookies in a zip lock bag and use a hammer to crush the cookies
  2. mix vanilla pudding as stated on box (put in fridge to thicken for 10 minutes)
  3. while pudding thickens add cool-whip, butter, philadephia cream cheese, and vanilla extract when pudding is thicken add to mixture
  4. get a large cake pan put a layer of cookies , layer of mixture, layer of cookies, and so on till its all used up
  5. put in refrigerator and chill till ready to serve
  6. this makes a great dessert for kids parties (at halloween add gummy worms and candy pieces make the cake look live a grave yard)
