I came up with this recipe because my husband came home from work with a bunch of gallon cans of carrots, green beans and garbonzo beans. I had a hard time getting them to eat the carrots until I made them taste more like yams.

Ingredients

  • 2 1/2 to 3 c
    canned sliced carrots (you can use fresh if you cook them first)
  • 1/4 c
    brown sugar, lightly packed
  • 1 tsp
    cinnamon
  • 1/4 tsp
    nutmeg
  • 1/4 c
    butter or margarine

How to Make Sweet Carrots (Noah's Favorite)

Step-by-Step

  1. Heat carrots and set aside. In either a small pot or microwave bowl, combine the rest of ingredients and heat until sugar and butter/margarine are melted.
  2. Mix with carrots and serve.
