SuperBowl Stix

Being a frugal mom and homemaker led me to this very thrifty and nifty dish. I hated seeing so much pizza crust dough getting tossed after my family had their fill of the cheese-topped portions. This recipe is great on a budget, great on time and great on your tastebuds!

I could've named this a Man's Breadstick!! It's really good.

  • 8 slice
    bacon, uncooked
  • 1/4 c
    grated parmesean cheese
  • 1/4 c
    shredded cheddar or mozzarella cheese

How to Make SuperBowl Stix

  1. Remove crusts from your large Super Bowl pizza. Wrap each crust with uncooked bacon, winding the slices around the crust from one end to the other. Cook in a medium-high heated skillet to cook bacon, approximately 15 minutes, turning crust occasionally so that bacon on every side gets cooked well.
  2. After bacon is done, sprinkle bread stick w/ grated Parmesan and shredded cheddar or , mozzarella and place on cookie sheet heat in 350* oven until cheese melts about 5 minutes. Serve with your favorite pizza or marinara sauce.
