Strawberry Bread

Not overly sweet. Just a nice simple bread. Would be good if you wanted to add a glaze to it, but we eat it with just some good ol' butter.

    chopped strawberries, about 1/2 inch

How to Make Strawberry Bread


  1. Put strawberries, oil and eggs in large bowl and mix on high speed until well mixed. Add vanilla and combine.
  2. Stir in flour,sugar, salt, soda and cinnamon. Stir until all ingredients are moistened.
  3. Grease and flour the bottom only of loaf pan (either 9"x5" or 8"x4" - or I use three mini-loaf pans). Pour batter into prepared pans.
  4. Bake at 350 for about 40-50 minutes until tootpick comes out clean. Cool for 15 minute then remove from pan. Cool completely. Wrap tightly in wax paper then foil and store in fridge.
