  • 2 lb
    top loin steak
  • 1
    onion
  • 1 pkg
    brown gravy mix
  • 1 c
    water
  • 1/4 c
    tomato sauce
  • 1/4 c
    red wine
  • 2 tsp
    mustard
  • 1 tsp
    worcestershire sauce
  • 1/8 tsp
    garlic powder
  • 1/2 tsp
    mixed herbs, dried
  • ·
    parsley for garnish
  • ·
    salt and pepper to taste

How to Make Spicey Wine Pot Roast

Step-by-Step

  1. Sprinkle meat with salt and pepper.
  2. Place in crockpot.
  3. Combine the remaining ingredients, except parsley, and pour over meat.
  4. Cover and cook on low 10 hours.
  5. Remove the meat and slice.
  6. Thicken sauce with flour mixed in a small amount of water.
